I spent close to two hours in the kitchen and this is what I have to show for.
1. Over a dozen breakfast tacos for the healthy happy hardworking boys that live in this house.
2. One dozen blueberry muffins that I can guarantee will be gone by morning due to Michael’s love for them 🙂
3. Spaghetti for whoever wants it, and just a guess that Michael will be the one to consume most of it.
4. A kitchen that is begging me to come and clean it.
Anyway that would be my Kitchen escapade of the day. Today is a special day, it’s my Meme’s birthday. She lives in Louisiana and I live, well here, so I don’t get to see here very often, but anyway she’s a pretty cool person. Meme is great at cooking, she makes wonderful grits, great pies, and a pretty mean gumbo, not to mention fried eggplant. She is also pretty knowledgeable about gardening and she loves roses so in honor of her here’s a rose.

One day can you give me cooking lessons??? I am not crafty in a kitchen. You’ve seen me try to cook pasta… (Note to self: boil water first!)
