In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Easy Fix.”
At the end of my day, I can say…
The weather is poor, but I don’t care.
It is cold outside, but not everywhere.
The rain comes down, but new life will grow.
Sorrows may come, but there is always tomorrow.
It’s toasty inside, and I’m happy as can be.
A fire is crackling and there is joy to share.
At the end of my day, with a clear conscience I can say “And all was right with the world”.
